Membership...
Approximately 100 Sonoma families belong to SVMC. We accept new members throughout the year and annual membership dues are $40. Memberships run from October 1st-September 30th. If you join after April, you will pay $20 for a six month membership until renewal time in October.
New members are invited to a New Member Brunch to welcome them to the club and learn more about what the club has to offer. New members also have the opportunity to join a Playgroup if they are interested.
What is included in a SVMC Membership?

- In-a-Pinch (which provides 8-10 meals after you have a baby or any other time you are "in-a-pinch")
- Playgroups
- Social events that include: Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Party, Holiday Party, Spa Night and more!
- Opportunities to learn new skills, or utilize the ones that you have
- Networking with local Mom's
- Opportunities to volunteer within the club and our local community
- Mom to Mom support & exchange
- Mom's Night Out and Educational Program Talks
- Special Interest Groups (ex. Book club, twins, co-op childcare, dad's club)
How do I join?
SVMC uses Big Tent, a private online community, that allows us to streamline the communication to our members. Through Big Tent, SVMC communicate all group news, event invitations, calendars, special interest groups, a marketplace for buying, selling, and bartering, a discussion forum and more.
All members need to register with Big Tent to activate their SVMC membership. Once you are registered you will be able to access information on upcoming member events, community events, the club newsletter, on-line classifieds, message boards, contact other club members, and more!
Note: You will automatically join Big Tent during the membership process.
